1500 people marched through the streets of Blantyre in memory of popular student Reamonn Gormley. At 11am on Saturday, organiser John Tierney (32), of Tyre Walk 'n' Rollers, signalled the start of the march outside the Parkville yards from the scene where the 19-year-old former John Ogilvie High pupil was killed last Tuesday. The marchers, with banners and placards of Reamonn's smiling picture, made the hour-long memorial tribute through the streets of Blantyre.
