Hamilton Accies

Accies became the first football club in the UK to recruit players from behind the Iron Curtain when three Polish players were signed in 1971 .

Scottish First Division winners: 1904, 1986, 1988, 2008 Scottish Cup Runners-up: 1911, 1935 Formed in 1874 by the Rector and pupils of the local school, Hamilton Academy.
