BANK customers in Suffolk are getting their revenge - in a game that sees them hit plastic bankers with mallets.
The game was put into an arcade at Southwold pier by owner and inventor Tim Hunkin. Based on the "Whack a Mole" game, "Whack a Banker" sees the traditional animal targets replaced by balding bankers, which players have to hit on the head when they pop up.
For 40p they get 30 seconds to hit as many bankers as they can. And if a player wins, they are told: "You win. We retire. Thank you very much to the taxpayer for paying our pensions."
Mr Hunkin told the BBC News website that the game had been "proving very popular".
He said: "I keep having to replace worn-out mallets."
And he added that the look of the bankers was very specific.
"The bankers are bald and all look the same because that's how I think people see bankers, as faceless."
