Susan Boyle's cat achieves her own fame

IN THE world of celebrity hangers-on, this four-legged feline has sunk her claws in and is finding fame of her own.

Pebbles, owned by Britain’s Got Talent and worldwide sensation Susan Boyle (who has been affectionately dubbed “SuBo”), has become the subject of the latest song from the Corrigan Brothers, the artists responsible for the hit “There’s no one as Irish as Obama”.

“I’m Pebbles Boyle (spare a thought for me)” is the latest offering from the band, who played at Barack Obama’s presidential inauguration. The song laments Pebbles’ situation as her owner abandons her in search of fame and fortune.

Ger Corrigan, lead singer said: "We were very concerned about Pebbles, it seems she now has to share Susan with the world and we wanted to write a song for Pebbles.”

The lyrics from the song include: “I’m Pebbles Boyle, spare a thought for me, the first cat orphaned by celebrity” and “Everything was fine, what the heck, until Susan met Ant and Dec”.
