Journalist throws shoes at President Bush

OUTGOING President George Bush was forced to dodge shoes thrown by a journalist during a press conference on his final visit to Iraq.

The President showed excellent reflexes to dodge the footwear, tossed by a local journalist who shouted: "This is a goodbye kiss from the Iraqi people, dog."

After a scuffle, the reporter was led away and Mr Bush quickly regained his composure.

"All I can report is a size 10," he is reported as saying.
