Boyfriend's kiss made girl deaf

A girl in Southern China became partially deaf after an overly-passionate kiss from her boyfriend.

The young woman had to go to hospital after becoming completely deaf in her left ear.

Doctors said the cause of deafness was due to the kiss creating “reduced pressure in the mouth” pulling the eardrum out.

It is hoped that the girl’s hearing will return to normal after two months.
