Offer for the elderly at Abbeyfield House

ABBEYFIELD House, Strathaven, a sheltered house for the elderly have a vacancy.

It is operated by Abbeyfield Strathaven and District Society Ltd., an independent organisation,

The house was opened in the early nineties and is run by a team of professionals managed by a board of volunteer trustees.

Residents rooms become their own home with their own personal furniture.

And from time to time activities are arranged for the residents such as trips to the Lanark Valley or visits by invited speakers.

At Christmas there is a house lunch party.

The complex is monitored by the government regulatory bodies.
