Macmillan Cancer Support delighted by donations
ORGANISERS of a cancer charity have been overwhelmed with the success of a recent appeal.
A collection for Macmillan Cancer Support has raised an amazing £4165.05 for the charity.
The secretary of the local committee in Strathaven, Margaret Martin, said: “Our members were delighted with the success and with the amount of money that was raised in this year’s collection.”
And she expressed the committee’s gratitude to all of the collectors and to everyone who had donated so generously.
