Fairtrade artwork goes on display

POSTERS and poems created by Strathaven and district pupils to mark Fairtrade Fortnight will be put on display this Saturday, March 8, in Strathaven’s East Church.

The colourful and entertaining exhibition hosted by Strathaven Fairtrade Group will be open from 10am-noon.

MSP Linda Fabiani, minister for Europe, external affairs and culture will present certificates to the winners.

Fairtrade tea, coffee and snacks will also be available.

Everyone is welcome to attend and find out more about what Fairtrade means in Scotland’s first Fairtrade town.
