Cleared on cue

A STONEHOUSE teenager accused of assaulting a man with a snooker cue has been found not guilty.

David Hoffman (17), of Trongate, denied hitting Hugh Rodger over the head with the cue on December 15 last year.

It was alleged Hoffman committed the assault at his home.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court, Hoffman stood trial for the alleged offence. But after evidence was led, Sheriff Frank Pieri found the teenager not guilty.
