THE Annual Stonehouse Agricultural Society show is being held this Saturday at the Showfield, Union Street, Stonehouse.
This is the 151st show and the organising committee are keen to see a great number of residents and children going along to support the event.
There will be competitions and attractions to suit people of all ages.s
And a children’s funfair, a bouncy castle and stalls as well as the usual keenly contested classes for Cattle, Sheep, the hugely popular Clydesdale Horses, plus showing and jumping classes for horses and ponies will take place.
There is also the Ladies’ Industrial Section, a craft tent featuring a range of goods and a wonderful display of vintage tractors from various parts of the country.
There is an open dog show for adults and children and a Pet Show.
Entries taken on the field for dogs and pets begin from 10.30 am.
There will be catering arrangements for visitors to the show and a bar on site.
The admission for adults is £3, children free, and car parking is also free.
