Stonehouse Sisters boost for charity
THREE sisters from Stonehouse have given a cancer charity a cash boost.
Karen Yates and Angela Closs presented a cheque for £835 to Mick Wilkinson of the Lanarkshire Cancer Care Trust, a group of volunteer drivers who help cancer patients to travel to hospital.
The cash was raised at a charity event organised in the Stonehouse Violet Club by Karen, Angela, and Wendy Donnelly.
The sisters want to thank Helen Grant and family as well as Nanettes hairdressers for their donation and the club.
