Stonehouse residents' spring equinox walk

RESIDENTS of Stonehouse can take part in a spring equinox walk this Saturday afternoon.

This is hoped to be the first of many walks taking place every month under the guidance of former village councillor John Young.

Participants on this two-mile walk, called the Horsepool, will learn all about the pagan rituals associated with Easter.

There is no cost involved and those interested should meet at the village Cross at 12pm on Saturday and bring appropriate footwear, lunch and, if they wish, a toast to the Avon.

For more information contact John Young on 792479.
