Man is attacked in home by gang

POLICE were this week appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in his home in Leven Street, Motherwell.
The incident took place at 11.20pm on October 6.
A 46-year-old man was inside his house when he heard a knock at his door.
He was met by three men and on speaking to them he was threatened then punched on his face.
The first suspect is described as aged between 20 and 25, 5ft 10in, thin build, with short fair hair.
The second was aged between 20 and 25, stocky build, with short hair, while the third suspect is male and described as 5ft 6in.
The 46-year-old man received facial injuries as a result.
