TWO men have been arrested for carrying knives.
The first incident took place at about 9.10pm on September 24, when police found a 27-year-old man in possession of a four-inch blade in Muir Street, Motherwell.
A separate incident took place at 3.45am on September 25 when a 34-year-old was caught in possession of two knives with eight-inch blades.
Both men were arrested and reported to the procurator fiscal.
AN intruder broke into a flat in Merryton Tower, Motherwell, between 10am on September 22 and 2am on September 24.
No property was stolen.

VANDALS set fire to a Mercedes Sprinter van parked in Brogan Crescent, Motherwell. The vehicle was found burnt-out about 2.40am on September 24.
Police believe that the blaze was started maliciously.
