Grannie scoops £168,000 at bingo

A BELLSHILL gran has won more than £168,000 playing bingo.
The 62-year-old winner, who wants to remain anonymous, won a total of £168,844 at the Gala Club in Faraday Retail Park, Coatbridge, on Sunday, July 27.
She completed a full house in 43 numbers, the lowest call in any of the 470 clubs playing nationwide.
She said: “I am still not over the shock of it yet. But I am absolutely delighted.
“I have been playing bingo since I was old enough and started going with my mum. I have always played at the same club, it was the County then.
