IT’S 'lights, camera, action' for young film-makers as they participate in fps media's Summer Screen School programme.
The exciting film-making opportunity, run by the Motherwell-based group, allows young people between the ages of 13 to 18 to spend a week learning the various aspects of filmmaking enabling them to produce their very own short film.
The latest group descended upon the Mausoleum in Hamilton to use its stunning architectural features as a backdrop for their short film which they scripted, directed and filmed themselves following three days of intensive training.
Peter Waddell, director of fps media, said: “The enthusiasm and flair displayed by the young people has been tremendous. “
He added: “I'm confident many of these talented young film-makers will have a career ahead of them in media.”
