Bellshill man fined for mooning

A BELLSHILL man who exposed his buttocks was last week fined £250.
Edward Strain (44) committed the breach of the peace at his house in Liberty Road on September 8 last year.
Strain, who had denied the offence, was found guilty by Sheriff David Bicket following a trial at Hamilton Sheriff Court and was fined.
Sheriff Bicket, however, found Strain not guilty to a charge of threatening a 10-year-old boy on August 31, 2007, by shouting and swearing at him.
