POST Offices facing closure are: Bankhead, Lesmahagow, ML11 0AA; Quarter, 21A Limekilnburn Road, Hamilton, ML3 7XA; Westport, The Post Office, Lanark, ML11 9HD; Hareleeshill, 40A Hareleeshill Road, Larkhall, ML9 2EX; New Lanark, Mill 3, Visitors’ Centre, New Lanark, ML11 9DB; Waterloo, 103 Overtown Road, Wishaw, ML2 8EW; Cambusnethan, 98 Cambusnethan Street, Wishaw, ML2 8NJ; Thorndean, 205 Motherwell Road, Bellshill, ML4 2JG; Mossend, 3 Hope Street, Bellshill, ML4 1QA; West Cross, 339 Main Street, Wishaw, ML2 7NG; Coatshill, 56 Coatshill Avenue, Blantyre, G72 9LE.

The six-week public consultation period began on Tuesday and all representations should be received by September 1.
