Ravenscraig to feature in art exhibition

RAVENSCRAIG’S role in Scotland's industrial history and its recent rebirth as a dynamic new place to live and work will be documented at a new exhibition opening this summer.
Scotland: A Changing Nation explores how cultural, social, political and economic influences have impacted on Scotland from the First World War to the present day.
The gallery will open at the National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh on July 11 and gather together images representing Ravenscraig in its glory from when the steelworks first opened in 1956 and earlier in pictures depicting the bold new vision for the site.
