Artist’s work to go on show at concert hall

LANARKSHIRE artist Jim Jordan invites you to an exhibition of his work at Kuppas Café, within North Lanarkshire Council's Motherwell Concert Hall, from July 11 to August 15.

Jim is a dedicated, versatile artist whose work encompasses portraits, landscapes and abstracts.

Using a range of mediums, including pastels and oils, he paints for his own pleasure and also for others to enjoy.

Jim takes a leisurely approach to his art.

He said this week: “There's nothing I like better than painting up in my loft, listening to rock and roll and Chicago Blues.”

Jim is very active in the voluntary sector within his community.

He was a Justice of Peace and was awarded the Outstanding Community Award by South Lanarkshire Council.

Entry to Jim’s exhibition is completely free.

For further information on the exhibition, contact North Lanarkshire Council's Visual Arts Development Officer on 01236 607419.
