Boys threw brick at car

AN OBJECT was thrown at a car containing three children including a young baby last weekend.

The 36-year-old female driver was passing under the bridge between Holytown and Newarthill on the A723 when the incident occurred at about 11.30am on Sunday, June 22.

Also in the car at the time were a four-month-old baby and two children aged four and five.

The object that struck the silver Kia Sedona chipped its rear offside window.

On approaching the bridge, the woman saw two boys aged between 10 and 14. They had bikes and were throwing bricks from the bridge.
