A MOTHERWELL man who forced a police car to swerve off the road after he drove down a one-way street in the wrong direction has been fined.
Bartomej Wysocki (22), of Glencairn Tower, drove a car towards a police vehicle in Bellshill on August 19 last year.
Wysocki drove with 114 microgrammes of alcohol in his breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
He admitted driving under the influence of alcohol and driving carelessly last month.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court, Sheriff Shiona Waldron fined Wysocki £600. The sheriff also disqualified the 22-year-old from driving for three years.
