ARTIST Katie Pope has been added to the prestigious judging panel for The Aspect Prize.
The Aspect Prize Exhibition is returning to Paisley Art Galleries this month.
Entries have been received from 163 artists who live and work in Scotland – all of whom have an eye on the first prize of £16,000 and the three runner-up cheques of £6000 which will be awarded before the exhibition opens on June 21. The exhibition runs until August 15.
The four winning artists will be principal contributors to the Aspect Prize Winners Exhibition to be held in London in 2009.
Katie, from Motherwell, was last year's winner and will be on the judging panel which includes journalist Jan Patience and established Scottish artist Charlie Jamieson.
