Flower festival bursts into bloom
VIEWPARK Gardens’ summer flower festival starts today (Thursday).
The theme of the four-day event in the gardens off Old Edinburgh Road is ‘An Oriental Garden.’
Within the main marquee there will be floral displays and horticultural and associated trade exhibits.
There will also be a wide range of summer bedding, hanging baskets and hardy plants on sale.
Entertainment will be provided and includes live music, and play activities for children.
Opening hours are 10am to 3.45pm today (Thursday) and tomorrow (Friday) and 10am and 5.45pm Saturday, and 11am and 4.45pm on Sunday.
