Man accused of making lewd comments to girls
A MOTHERWELL man has been accused of approaching three young girls and making lewd comments.
Adrian Mannion (26), of Doonside Tower, allegedly approached the girls, aged between 10 and 13 years old, in a residential area of the town and repeatedly made lewd and improper comments to them.
Mannion, however, denied a charge of sexually-aggravated breach of the peace.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week, Sheriff David Bicket set Mannion’s trial for July and granted him bail meantime.
