New boss for Motherwell's Brandon Shopping Centre

AS part of its investment and expansion at Motherwell’s Brandon Shopping Centre, CALA Properties has appointed a full-time centre manager.

Claire Jefcoate moves from Rutherglen shopping centre to become the Brandon Centre’s first permanent, full-time manager for a number of years.

Claire holds a diploma in shopping centre management and has more than 17 years’ retail experience. Before becoming manager at Rutherglen, she managed MEPC’s outlet shopping centre at Loch Lomond. She began her career as deputy manager of The Plaza Shopping Centre on London’s Oxford Street.

In Motherwell she will be working closely with the managing agents Montagu Evans, will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the centre, including liaison with the tenants, security and health and safety, dealing with enquiries from the public and liaising with the local authority and other local bodies.
