Larkhall Disco is off

THE Blue Light Disco, which was due to take place in Larkhall Leisure Centre on August 1, has been canelled.
Organised by Strathclyde Police, Strathclyde Fire and Rescue and other partner agencies, the first disco of this kind to be held in Larkhall took place in May.
In order to attend, youngsters under 18 had to take a standard breathalyser test and achieve a reading of zero.
A spokesman from Strathcylde Police said: “Officers and partners involved in organising this event for local youths will work together to plan another Blue Light Disco for the start of the new school term."
