Exhibition to mark 80 years of Royal Albert

AN exhibition is to be staged at the Scottish Football Museum at the national stadium to mark Larkhall Royal Albert’s 80th year in existence.

And club secretary Peter Higgins is appealing for anyone with old photographs to help them prepare for their showing at the Hampden attraction.

He said: “We had an exhibition in Hamilton to mark our 75th anniversary and now that we’re moving up to Hampden.

“It’s a great opportunity for the club and we’re desperately looking for old photographs, either from the 1928 era, or from the period 13-15 years ago when the Albert threatened to fold, so that we can include them in the professionally-built exhibition.”

Anyone who can help should contact Mr Higgins on 07719 384581.
