Sponsored effort goes to the heads of Larkhall nursery kids

A LARKHALL nursery school raised a hefty £300 after youngsters took part in a sponsored ‘funny hat’ walk.

Robert Smillie Nursery in Strutherhill plan to use the cash to fund activities for a Fun Day next month.

During the sponsored walk, children also had the chance to take part in a number of fun activities including a fitness session with a leader from ‘Future Stars’, a pony ride, beat the goalie and lots more.

Some of the money will also be used to take the youngsters on a tractor ride at Almond Valley Farm, Livingston, West Lothian.

The nursery would like to thank all parents, friends and grandparents who helped to raise the funds for the events.
