Bottle thrower is fined

A LARKHALL man who threw a bottle at a woman has been fined.

Darren Craig (19), of Robert Smillie Crescent, admitted throwing the bottle at Valerie Walker in Machan Road on July 10, 2006.

He also admitted committing a breach of the peace when he appeared last week at Hamilton Sheriff Court.

Prosecutors accepted Craig’s not guilty pleas to further charges of attempting to punch a William McGregor and damaging the wing mirror of a car.

Craig was fined £250 by Sheriff Thomas Welsh QC, presiding.
