ST PAUL’S CHURCH: Rev. Sarah Ross led the summer service at Forth St Paul’s Church on Sunday at 10.15am.

The Holiday Club runs fromAugust 4 to 8, from 10am till noon each day.

Mid-week worship takes place on Wednesdays from 6.45pm till 7.45pm.

Schedules for this year’s Flower Show are available. The show will be held on August 16.

COMPUTING COURSE: A new programme of courses in computing and arts and crafts begin at Forth Community Centre on August 20. Call Anne on 811002.

FUN DAY: It is hoped to hold a mini Highland Games fun day on Saturday, August 23.

LABOUR DANCES: The monthly Saturday Labour dances resume in the masonic hall at 8pm on August 2.

BOWLING CLUB: Forth and Wilsontown Bowling Club hosted the Adam Cockburn Trophy on Sunday. D. Flynn sponsored the ladies triples competition, where the results were: winners - F. Gibson, E. Muir and K. Moyes (Shotts); runners-up - J. Tonnar, B. Kirkhope and W. Mathers (Carluke); beaten semi-finalists - A. McLean, N. Mitchell and C. Weir (Coalburn) and B. Aitken, A. Plenderleith and B. Turnbull (Carluke).

Results of the First for Convenience club triples event on July 13 were: winners - A. Harkins, W. Hamilton and N. Thomson; runners-up - J. Lindsay, A. McConnell and L. Smith; beaten semi-finalists - M. Stewart,T. Gray and A. Davidson, and J. Russell, S. Darroch and A. Gracie.
