 Carnwath celebrated their gala day on June 22.

BOWLING CLUB: Winners of games at Carnwath Bowling Club last week were: Monday night promiscuous - Mrs Fulton and I. Jamieson; Wednesday bonus ball - M. McCallum; Friday night promiscuous (Clensol Cup) - Agnes Marshall and J. Girvan; Tote double - J. Girvan.

Carnwath retained the Law-Byers Trophy at the annual friendly against Larkhall on Sunday, June 22.

The gala competition for the Simpson Trophy attracted an entry of 30 bowlers on June 24. Results were: 1, A. Ross and John Dickison; 2, F. Clyde and Liam Forrest.

John Dickison will be available at the club at 6.45m for any new members who need tuition.

Bingo sessions will start at 9pm this Friday and Saturday.

The Mains Cup will be played in conjunction with the promiscuous tomorrow (Friday). Play starts at 1.30pm for the Jackson Trophy on Saturday.

The ladies Invitation Pairs competition takes place on Sunday.

Bowls Week will run from Monday to Friday, July 21 to 25.
