COUNCILLORS are being asked to approve plans for a new shop development in Carluke.
Waverlee Properties Ltd, 5 Grange Court, Lanark, want planning permission to build a ground floor shop unit with two flats above.
They have submitted plans for the development, adjacent to 6 Kirkton Street, Carluke, to South Lanarkshire Council planners in Lanark.
Waverlee Properties also want permission to form a pitched roof over the adjoining premises.
This is just one of a number of planning applications made for developments within Clydesdale. Other local schemes being considered by South Lanarkshire include: conversion and extension of byre to form new dwelling and extension to existing cottage at East Teaths Farm Cottage, Lanark, for Jim and John Miller.
