Win tickets for Hamilton Park Racecourse final meeting

HAMILTON Park Racecourse are offering fun for all the family at their final meeting of the season on Monday, September 26.

The September Holiday Family Fun Day is a chance for adults and children alike to enjoy all the racecourse has to offer, with an emphasis on value for money.

Children will be able to attend the event free of charge when they are accompanied by a paying adult.

Entertainment will be provided by Bob the Builder and FiFi Forget-Me-Not, who will be performing onstage both before and after racing.

The children’s TV stars will also be spending time meeting their fans at various times throughout the afternoon.

There will also be a host of other free children’s activities, such as a bouncy castle and face-painting.

For fans of racing, there will be seven races spread across the day, with the first race getting underway at 2.10pm.

The feature race has prize money of £11,000.

Strong, competitive fields are expected across the card with a total of £32,000 in prize money up for grabs.

The meeting is sure to be attractive as it is the last one of the 2011 season and falls on the local September Holiday Monday.

The September 26 meeting follows on from a busy schedule of racing at Hamilton Park over the next few days.

On Sunday, the racecourse is hosting the Totesport Family Fun Day, which will also offer free entertainment for children.

Monday’s meeting is the Totesport Final Fling, where £42,000 of prize money will be up for grabs.

Seven races will be running at each meeting and a prize pot of £83,300 will be spread over the two days.

Gates on September 26 will open at 12.10pm.

Tickets are available in advance from £13 or £14 on the day.
