TRIBUTES were paid this week to a teenager who was found dead in a burn.
Police launched a probe after Christopher McGhee’s was discovered by a dog walker in Viewpark’s Laburnum Road on Sunday at 2.30pm.
Police were treating the death as unexplained and began an inquiry.
Officers sealed off a park where 19-year-old Christopher, known as Chrissy, was found.
A police van sat outside the park on Monday.
A post-mortem was carried out on Monday afternoon to establish the exact cause of death.
Following the post-mortem, police have ruled out foul play.
A Facebook page was set up this week in the teenager’s memory.
Sister Lauren posted: “RIP my angel,
“You were the best brother ever.
“Love You.”
Another tribute added: “Rest in peace, Chrissy McGhee (Chunk).
“Truly one in a million, you will never be forgotten. Always the heart and soul of the party. We’re all missing you like mad, true legend.”
Yesterday (Wednesday), a Strathclyde Police spokesman said: “They are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of Christopher.”
