Meet Hamilton Accies’ coolest supporter

Cameron Brown shows off his Accies snowman

WHEN Hamilton’s game against Dundee United was called off due to a sudden snowfall on Saturday, young Cameron Brown turned his frustration into a work of art.

When the 10-year-old Chatelherault Primary pupil got to his Silvertonhill home, Cameron immediately started building the snowman.

Older sister Caitlin (14), a Hamilton Grammar pupil, came out to help and they decided to give the icy sculpture arms and legs, topping it off with a red and white Accies scarf.

It took the kids an hour to complete the job, and when they were finished dad Jim took a photograph and sent it to the Advertiser.

Jim (44), said: “We were sitting in the main stand at New Douglas Park and we were quite surprised when the game was called off.

“We got there at 2.30pm and the pitch was fine but then it started snowing and within quarter of an hour it was a whiteout.

“We came up the road and Cameron decided to build a snowman as soon as we got back.

“His older sister Caitlin came out to help him and they decided on the legs and arms.

“It took them about an hour and they were delighted with it.

“I thought it looked great so I decided to take a picture and send it in.”
