Peter Andre to appear at Hamilton Asda

SINGER and television personality Peter Andre is due to visit Hamilton next week.

And it is ‘Asda Price’, rather than Katie Price, that will be uppermost in the mind of the ex-reality tv contestant as he visits the supermarket this Tuesday, September 29.

Peter has just divorced glamour model wife Katie (aka Jordan) following a messy and much publicised break-up.

Peter will be at Asda to sign copies of his new album “Revelation”.

The supermarket is expected to be packed and general store manager Colin Pearse is looking forward to the celebrity’s visit.

He said: “There is a real wave of excitement about his visit to the store.

“All staff, but particularly my female colleagues, are looking forward to seeing him; he is very popular at the moment.

“Customers who have also heard about his visit have told us they are looking forward to seeing him.

“We are, however, anticipating a lot of people in the store next Tuesday and we will do everything possible to make sure that no one is disappointed.

“I hope that everything runs as smoothly as it can.

“There is a huge buzz and excitement, not just in the store but about the town.”

The trip to Asda Hamilton will be Peter’s second visit to the town.

Peter entertained audiences at the start of his singing career more than a decade ago at Hamilton Grammar School.

He visited the school as part of a promotional tour and sang “Mysterious Girl”, which reached number two in the UK charts in 1996.

After his musical career, he made in 2003 an appearance on ITV1’s reality show I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here.

It was there he met his now ex-wife Katie Price.

There relationship was followed by the nation on ITV2 when they starred in their own reality tv programme ‘Katie and Peter’.

Peter will be at the Asda store from 1pm onwards.
