THE following planning applications have been lodged with South Lanarkshire Council:

South Lanarkshire Council, Council Offices, Almada Street, Hamilton – erection of replacement primary school and MUGA pitch and installation of CCTV cameras at Auchinraith Primary School, Calder Street, Blantyre.

Lisini Leisure Ltd., Angels Hotel, 114 Main Street, Uddingston – change of use of outbuilding to office at The Parkville, 296 Glasgow Road, Blantyre.

Mr and Mrs D. McSherry, 4 Viscount Gate, Bothwell – demolition of side conservatory and erection of two-storey side extension with associated timber decking.

Cala and The Scottish Covenanters’ Association, c/o DTA Chartered Architects, 9 Montgomery Street, The Village, East Kilbride – erection of covenanters’ memorial and residential development (12 units) at land adjacent to 2A Hamilton Road, Bothwell.

Mr Mohammed, 20 Bothwell Road, Hamilton – change of use of open space to provide car parking and two-storey extension/ancillary takeaway to existing restaurant.

Mr Fraser, 33 Bogside Road, Ashgill, Larkhall – erection of one detached and four terraced houses (outline).

Mr and Mrs Simpson, 5 Brooklands Avenue, Uddingston – erection of rear conservatory.

S. Tang, 2 Kylepark Avenue, Uddingston – erection of double garage.

Mr and Mrs B. Chalmers, The Steading, East Coldstream Farm, Coldstream Highway, Strathaven – erection of single-storey rear extension, conversion of garage to form family room, installation of steel flue and alterations to form door/window and velux roof windows (Listed Building Consent).

Boots The Chemist, 1 Thane Road, Beeston, Nottingham – relocation of air conditioning unit and installation of security cage cover (amendment to EK/08/0486) at 25 Common Green, Strathaven.
