Jack’s goal-den time at football course

BRAIDHURST High School second year pupil Jack Simpson was the star performer during the recent score goals initiative.

The course, run in conjunction with Strathclyde Police and Motherwell Football Club, lasted 10 weeks and covered topics such as health education as well as football coaching.

Jack won the penalty shoot-out competition, defeating 39 other boys in the process and earned himself a signed Motherwell football.

This was only the beginning as, during the final prize-giving, Jack was named as the outstanding candidate on the course for his effort, football ability and overall contribution.
