SOUTH Lanarkshire's Writer in Residence Carl MacDougall is looking for writers to contribute to a new publication.
His first Brownsbank Broadsheet will be published this summer with stories and poems from county writers' groups.
Carl said: “There must be writers who don't go to writers' groups, and these are the people I want."
Carl is especially interested in contacting younger writers.
Brownsbank Broadsheet will be published from the poet Hugh MacDiarmid's former home Brownsbank Cottage near Biggar.
As well as being available in local libraries, the free broadsheet will also be available at outlets in Glasgow, Edinburgh, Dundee Aberdeen and Inverness.
Contributions, enclosed with a stamped addressed enveloped, should be sent to Carl MacDougall, Brownsbank Writing Fellow, Brownsbank Cottage, Candymill, Biggar, ML12 6QY.
