Take the Ben Nevis charity challenge

A MAJOR charity is looking for kind-hearted Lanarkshire people to raise funds by tackling their annual Ben Nevis challenge.

Yorkhill Hospital’s Family House in Glasgow needs to raise £300,000 each year to cover running costs, and rely entirely on fundraising events throughout the year.

The event will take place on Saturday and Sunday, June 27 and 28, with an overnight in Fort William. Transport from Glasgow, meals, accommodation and guides will also be provided.

Moderate fitness levels are required for the trek and the minimum sponsorship needed is £200.
