LARKHALL is saying ‘bon voyage’ to the legendary William MacKenzie.

Finally, after 42 years of styling and perming, he is hanging up his scissors and retiring to a new fabulous life in Bali.

Yes, the rumours are true, he has sold up his salon to new owner Alana Kelly, who is totally dedicated to looking after all existing and new customers.

The 23-year-old said: “I’m so very excited to be the proud new of owner of MacKenzie Hair in Union Street.

“It’s such a privilege to be carrying William’s name above the door and I wouldn’t change it for the world – it’s a Larkhall landmark!

“Not much is going to change. It’s all the same staff.

“The only change is a new face at the helm!

“William has been a family friend for many years and we wish him all the best on his new adventures.”

William would like to thank all his customers for their loyalty throughout the years and will miss them all.
