Jewellery stolen in home raid

MOBILE phones and jewellery were stolen during a break-in at a house in Uddingston at the weekend.

The incident, in which the thief entered by breaking a rear patio door, took place in Hozier Crescent between 2pm last Saturday and 7am on Sunday.

Two Sony Ericsson flip phones and a metal necklace with diamantes were stolen during the break-in.
