OAP’s cash was nicked

A PENSIONER was robbed of £200 as she shopped in Bodycare in Brandon Parade South, Motherwell.

The incident took place between 11.45am and noon on April 3.

The 86-year-old woman was about to pay for goods at the shop when a woman bumped into her.

The woman, who was accompanied by another woman, then left the shop.

The elderly lady returned home to find the cash had been taken from her handbag.

The suspect is described as aged 45, 5ft 3in, with shoulder length fair hair.

She was wearing a dark knee-length jacket.

She was accompanied by a woman of a similar age.
