Council site tops customer survey

SOUTH Lanarkshire Council’s website has come top in Scotland in a customer satisfaction survey.

Eighty-four per cent of visitors to the council’s website found the information they were looking for, making it top in Scotland in the Customer Access Improvement Service (CAIS) half-yearly results.

Meanwhile, Strathclyde Fire and Rescue, the Fire and Rescue Authority for the West of Scotland, have launched a new website aimed at giving the public access to their papers and reports.
