A MAN has appeared in court after police seized £420,000 of drugs in a raid on a Hamilton home.
Peter Manuel appeared on petition at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
The 38-year-old, who lives in Glasgow, was charged with supplying cannabis resin.
He made no plea or declaration and was given bail.
Police began their enquiries after they swooped on a car in the Glasgow area last Friday.
This prompted officers to search a house in the Comely Bank area of Hillhouse.
Police found drugs believed to be cannabis resin worth an estimated street value of £420,000.
A man was arrested and was detained in police custody in connection with the incident.
A full report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
