Stole goods from store

A HAMILTON woman stole goods worth a total of £180 from a town supermarket.

Lorraine Paterson (24), of Comrie Crescent, admitted thieving the items, valued at £179.95, from Asda in Palace Grounds on Wednesday, November 25, while she was on bail in connection with other matters.

Co-accused Lynn McDonald (24), of Cameron Crescent, had denied the charge, and her plea was accepted by the Crown.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week, Sheriff Danny Scullion deferred sentence on Paterson until December 23 for reports.
