A CHRISTMAS Fair will be held in Whitehill Neighbourhood Centre, Hamilton, to raise money for a children’s charity.
The centre will host the event on Saturday, November 29, starting at 1pm, with proceeds going to the Children’s Hospital Association Scotland (CHAS).
There will be many stalls and activities, including letter templates for children to write a letter to Santa, a Santa’s post box, Phoenix Cards, French designer children’s clothing, Usborne Books, soap and bath products, handbags, designer jewellery, an arts and crafts table and a rummage sale table.
There will also be a bake sale, raffle prizes, face painting. balloon animal artists and children can enjoy a visit from Santa Claus himself.
Alison Larkin, one of the organisers, said: “We already have some lovely prizes for the Christmas raffle.
“However, further donations would be much appreciated and will go to raising as much money for CHAS as we can.”
Tables for sale goods are still available for booking from individuals or groups.
Alison added: “CHAS is an important and worthwhile charity, and one which can benefit from every penny donated.
“There is no better reason for getting the community together, especially at this time of year, to remind us of the importance of caring for those in need.”
Anyone who wants to book a table, help out on the day or make a donation or contribute to the raffle should contact Alison on 07533 224 063.
