Santa's web page back on

COUNTY children can receive their very own personalised letter from Santa Claus, after he re-opened his popular Christmas post website.

Parents can visit www.santaclauspost.co.uk where they will find special offers, and it takes only a matter of minutes to provide information that will lead to a unique personalised letter being sent to their children.

This year Santa starts his deliveries on December 8 and continues to Christmas Eve.

CHEST, Stroke and Heart Scotland hope charity really does begin at home, as they urge Lanarkshire people to donate their spare change in specially-designed Home Money Boxes.

Small change can make a big contribution towards the charity’s work of supporting people living with chest, heart and stroke illnesses.

ST Cuthbert’s Primary’s PTA are to host a prize bingo night on Wednesday, November 12.

The evening will be held in St Cuthbert’s Church, Reid Street, Burnbank, Hamilton.

Entry is £2.50 and includes refreshments. Eyes down will be at 7.30pm.

JOHN Ogilvie High School PTA will hold a craft fare on Thursday, November 20, between 5pm and 8.30pm.

Bands, choirs, tombola and stalls will be amongst the attractions on offer.

Entry to the event is free.

A CHARITY night is being held in Hamilton in a bid to raise money for a school funds.

St Paul’s Primary Parent Council have organised the fundraising evening at the school in Backmuir Road, Whitehill, on Friday, November 14, from 7pm to 9pm.

All are very welcome to attend.
